OUR BUILDING
At home in thriving D.C.
Our building’s style is grand, ambitious, and quietly revolutionary––a perfect match for our location in a vibrant, thriving cross-section of old and new D.C.
Centrally Located
We’re on top of a Whole Foods, in the middle of a thriving neighborhood, and mere minutes away from all forms of public transportation.
DESIGN
Our partners & features
We teamed up with top design brands to create custom furnishings that elevate every apartment.
Poritz & Studio
We collaborated with Poritz & Studio on a custom bedside table that brings together black walnut, Italian marble, and leather drawers.
Established in the Brooklyn Navy Yard in 2014, Aaron Poritz’s studio concentrates on high-end residential furniture and sculpture, and was recently featured in The New York Times Magazine.
Norm Architects
The MENU Sofa by Norm Architects was fully customized for Whyle and is upholstered in Kvadrat’s Colline fabric, a timelessly stylish textile designed by Frans Dijkmeijer.
Founded in Copenhagen in 2008 by Jonas Bjerre- Poulsen and Kasper Rønn, Norm Architects produces designs that unite materials and craftsmanship while embodying beauty, history, and timeless simplicity.
LUMAS
We worked with the SoHo gallery LUMAS to curate the hand-picked artwork in every apartment at Whyle.
Representing photographers from around the globe since 2004, LUMAS specializes in displaying uniquely inspiring works of art in their best light.
Workstead
To complement each apartment’s minimal design, we collaborated with Workstead to make a finely milled red walnut coffee table with subtle lines and a warm finish.
Founded in 2009 by Stefanie Brechbuehler, Ryan Mahoney, and Robert Highsmith, Workstead is an award-winning New York City studio that is sought after for its attention to detail and its disciplined process that considers both client and community.
Designed for the long term from the ground up
We partnered with renowned architect Morris Adjmi to create a physical space and interior setting that elevates your daily experience and raises your expectations for long-term stays.
